The Identity & Intergroup Relations Lab on the Arizona State University West Campus is devoted to research examining how and why we identify with social groups and the ways in which group identification shapes the way we perceive and interact with others. Our research adopts a largely social psychological perspective, but has applications in a variety of areas including health, consumer behavior, and community interventions. Directed by Deborah Hall, Ph.D., the lab is comprised of a team of graduate and undergraduate research assistants and collaborators at ASU and other academic institutions.
