The Identity & Social Relations Lab at Arizona State University conducts research examining how and why we identify with social groups and the ways in which aspects of social identity shape our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Our research adopts a largely social psychological perspective, but has applications in a variety of areas including health, consumer behavior, and community interventions. Directed by Deborah Hall, Ph.D., the lab is comprised of a team of graduate and undergraduate research assistants and collaborators at ASU and other academic institutions.
